AxeFx Ultra

AxeFX Ultra
State of the Art Guitar FX and Modelling

The Axe-Fx is a breakthrough guitar amp simulator and studio effects processor. Unprecedented computing power is dedicated to driving its highly detailed algorithms which deliver the sound and feel of real tube amps as well as a suite of breathtaking, world-class effects. The unit’s rugged 2 RU steel chassis is designed to easily withstand the demands of touring and comes equipped with all the essential professional I/O options.

Hear It

Down below you can listen to how an Axe-Fx truly sounds — everything you hear is being produced by one Axe-Fx, no other processing has been applied to these sounds.

The Axe-Fx has been recorded via it's digital output into a Pro-Tools system running at a 48kHz sampling rate with 24 bit resolution.

These sounds have then been compressed to a high-quality mp3 file for streaming audio and can also be downloaded as a FLAC file by right clicking on the "Download" link and choosing "Save Target As" or "Save link as" depending on your browser.

The driver, amp and cab models appear as they are described on the Axe-Fx. For information as to which specific amps etc the Axe-Fx is emulating, head to the Axe-Fx wiki.

Click here to explore amps, and here for Cabs and here for Drivers (Distortion pedals etc).

You can find all sorts of great info about your Axe-Fx at this wiki, and you should also check out the official Axe-Fx forums.

In the coming weeks we will be adding more demos appropriate to other genres (Metal, Jazz, Country etc). Drop us an email if you want us to keep you informed as we add more demos.

Enjoy!

Plexi

Here's a single coil guitar running directly through the axefx with no amp emulation and no effects.

Here we've turned on the plexi emulation and an emulation of a Brittish 4x12 speaker cabinet.

With some reverb and a little 'vibe' style phasing at the end.

Some dynamic single note phrases with a few chords.

Here'sThe plexi amp with a fuzz pedal in front of it.
